Subject: is it me or does wintalk stink?
I'm on the newer 1.1 version... I have my DNS IPs set in trumpet tcpman... I
was able -- once -- to contact a friend with wintalk... forget about receiving
calls...
anyone else feel like that smiley face is the Devil?
Malcolm

Subject: Re: WSGopher 1.0 is here!
I tried WSGopher over Trumpet Winsock and, like others in this newsgroup, I
was quite impressed with the MDI and internal text viewing features of
WSGopher. However, I too had a couple of GPFs. I decided to delete it and
wait for the next version.
I really was impressed, though. I'd drop HGopher in a minute if the next
version of WSGopher is stable. BTW, I like Hgopher, but I just think that WSG
has a better, more graphical interface.
Just my dos centavos.
Tony

Subject: [answer] SLIP server for DOS machine
If anyone is interested in setting up a DOS machine as a slip server, I will
be glad to write a short blurb on how I was able to do it. I am no expert but
what I use seems to work well. Contact me if interested.
